"Old Dominion" Lumber deals in hardwood lumber, which is grown in the Appalachian region of the United States. 

We purchase green lumber from over 200 different suppliers located within the Appalachian hardwood region.

"Old Dominion" further process dries, down to 7% moisture, sorts and surfaces lumber to customer's specification.

The processing kilns, sorting equipment and plainer mill are new and have state-of-the-art equipment to insure quality and so orders are processed in a timely efficient schedule.

"Old Dominion" lumber is located in Martinsville, Virginia which is the center of hardwood furniture production in the United States. It has rail shipment capability for lumber shipments to the west coast.

"Old Dominion" has the capability of one day shipments to the east coast sea ports of Baltimore, Maryland, Norfolk, Virginia, Morehead City and Wilmington, North Carolina.

Fuel Chips are produced by loggers and whole tree chipping operations. When a logger harvests logs for lumber, approximately 30-40 tone per acre is left in the form of limbs, tree ends, and low-grade.
